‘I Set Out To Bridge A Missing Link’ – Interview with Mai Nasara

It is only his first children’s book but Adeleke Adeyemi is making a strong statement in Nigeria’s literary circles with The Missing Clock. Writing under the pen name Mai Nasara, Adeyemi tells a story compelling enough to cart away thehighly coveted Nigeria Prize for Literature sponsored by the Nigeria LNG, 2011 edition. In this exclusive interview by Atom Lim for Abuja Writers Forum, Adeyemi speaks on his writing career and reveals his ambition to sell one million copies (he emphasizes it) of The Missing Clock. He also speaks on future career and personal goals including “a massive and sustainable girl-child education project in Northern Nigeria”.
