How to end insecurity in Nigeria, by Rotarians

ROTARIANS in Ghana and Nigeria have stated that love and genuine service were key to addressing the security challenge in the country. They also condemned the spates of bombings claimed by the Boko Haram terrorist group, describing it as “evil.” However, the Rotarians said the problem “should not be tackled with sectional division and reprisal attacks but with improved love among all Nigerians.”

The Rotarians spoke at the weekend in Lagos during the 10th year anniversary of Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metropolitan, where the visiting sister club, Rotary Club of Accra-East, Ghana, was hosted.  President of the visiting club, Rotarian Joe Hyde, urged Nigerians to be relentless in curbing evil as exemplified by the Boko Haram insurgency.
