…Beware of foreign intervention, Kenyan presidential candidate warns Nigeria

A leading presidential candidate in the coming election in Kenya, Dr. George Luchiri Wajackoyah has warned Nigeria not to seek foreign intervention to tackle the domestic problem of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.  Wajackoyah sounded the note of warning at the Weekend in Lagos, when he arrived Muhammed Muritala Airport for consultation with Kenyans resident in Nigeria over his presidential ambition, since Kenyans in the Diaspora could now vote in presidential election.
The Professor of law, who would contest on the platform of the Roots Party of Kenya (RPK), said: “What Nigeria needs is divine intervention and not foreign intervention,” cautioning that they would pretend to come in to help, whereas they would have some selfish interest and hidden agenda. He therefore urged all the former rulers of the country like Shehu Shagari, Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Babangida, Yakubu Gowon and Olusegun Obasanjo to rally round President Goodluck Jonathan to find a lasting solution to the menace.
